Macmillan Singles Trophy
for Ladies on Friday 17th August 2018 
This Competition Starts at 2.00pm


David and Joan Bassett
will be be providing an afternoon Cream Tea, 

including sandwiches & cakes about 4.00 pm.

Male Members and their partners, that are NOT playing are most welcome. Please try and attend this event as all proceeds go to the Macmillan Trust, and this is such a worthy cause.

Members made cakes and donated

items for the Tombola and Bric a Brac Stall.

Raffles for a Food Hamper and

a Cake made from cupcakes 

(see right photo) were held. 

A name the doll was also held,

giving prize money.

A big thank you to everyone that helped on the day

without your help and generous donations this

amount would not be achieved.

David and Joan Bassett's afternoon Cream Tea, including sandwiches

& cakes on Friday 17th August 2018 raised £363.60 for Macmillan.

Total money raised for these 2 events for the Macmillan Cancer Support for 2018 is

£1083.10

Hesketh Park Bowling Club

Friday 17th August 2018

Joan & David Bassett 
held a special event in aid of charity.

 They were sponsors for a Ladies Competition called
The Macmillan Trophy, 

Cream teas, prosecco, sandwiches and cakes were supplied.

Members were invited to guess Richard Amess weight,
and donations were given.

                                                   

The total amount raised was

£363.60

for the Macmillan Trust.

 It was a good afternoon, raising funds
for an excellent cause.

A very special thank you to

 Joan & David for organising this event

and all the excellent help from the ladies.

The winner of the Ladies Macmillan Trophy

was Sue Tutton and the runner up Rhiannon Butler.
